The Leeds Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board is a voluntary arrangement of statutory and non-statutory organisations. It has an Independent Chair providing independent leadership to support the Board's strategic direction. The Safeguarding Adult Partnership Board is overseen by the Director of Adult Social Services.
The vision of the Safeguarding Adults Board is that all the citizens of Leeds, irrespective of age, race, gender, culture, religion, disability or sexual orientation can live free from abuse or the fear of abuse.
The board works actively to provide strategic leadership for all the organisations across the city of Leeds that have responsibilities to safeguarding adults from abuse. The board's membership includes:

The board will commission Serious Case Reviews when required. Serious Case Reviews provide for multi-agency learning from serious incidents that have occurred, enabling safeguarding systems and processes to be improved.
The board has published a Safeguarding Charter detailing its commitment to adults at risk and how it responds to safeguarding concerns.
